I would like to say that I have a really good excuse for not being able to post to my blog in almost three months but I really don't have a good reason. We are just incredibly busy all of the time and it seems like it is so hard to find time to even breathe. But it is a good kind of busy. :) I guess the last time I really updated anyone was in March so I will try and updated you on the general things that have happened since then.
Puppies:
Well as you all should know we got a second dog. She is the litter mate to our little boy scout which makes them brother and sister. She is a lot bigger then him though and they hardly look anything alike. Scout finally weighs about 6lbs. and Daisy is a whopping 9 lbs. so there is a pretty big difference. They both keep us busy and they finally hit the 5 month mark in age so they're getting a little easier as they get into their routine. They have very minimal accidents in the house and most likely if there is one it is Daisy because she is more difficult to train since we got her later. We got Scout at 5 weeks old and Daisy at 10. so there is a lot of learning time Scout had with us that Daisy did not. They are both doing really well with commands and they have down sit, stay, and fetch. But Daisy hates playing so the last one is a joke to her. She is really lazy. and Scout has severe ADHD. Meaning the poor little guy can sit for about three seconds before he moves onto something different. They aren't too destructive unless it is Josh's grey socks (yes only the grey ones). They are finally getting close to being too big to fit through their gate so we can lock them in the kitchen when we're gone. Scout scratches at the door when he needs to use the restroom and Daisy just does whatever she wants. They are fun and really crazy and drive me nuts sometimes but I love them regardless.
Moving:
So because of our recent adventure in getting two puppies and due to the fact that we bought the last three months of someones contract in our first apartment we decided to move at the end of our contract in April. Of course we also decided that since we are having a baby in October and it will be the middle of winter that it may also be easier to have a washer and dryer in our apartment. We prayed a lot about finding somewhere to live and if it would be a good idea to move. Well that day one of my classes got canceled so I stayed home and logged into Facebook and the first thing that popped up on my news feed was an available apartment that was pet friendly, had a washer dryer, and was in our price range. I called right that second (around here pet friendly housing that is not super expensive is impossible to find) and spoke to the manager. She told me that there was no monthly fee for a pet just an additional deposit that is fully refundable. She said she had already had 7 people call inquiring but its first come first serve so if I could fill out the application, pay the application fee, and look at the apartment as soon as possible then she would hold my spot as first in line. Within the hour we had all of that done and we made a decision to move there. She told us we were all set and that we could move in on April 15th. Well the day came to move and it hadn't snowed since early February and of course it was snowing, windy, and the coldest day ever on the day we were supposed to move. Luckily, Joshua's parents helped us and our friends Karie and Paul helped too. We got it done in a little under 2 hours. Which was awesome because we had to clean our old apartment too and we had to do all of this before 10am. We got it done though. Our new apartment is awesome. It is twice the square footage as our last apartment, there is a washer and dryer, and a dishwasher, its a great place for our puppies, close to campus, and a majority of it is new because the flood last spring caused the entire apartment to be redone. We have really loved living here so far and plan to be here for a couple years until Josh finishes school or transfers.
School:
So of course school is one of the biggest part of our lives right now. Big shocker there. Anyways I am so close to being done I have senioritis all over again. Despite what most people think the baby did not put me behind in school at all. Unfortunately, a mess up at the university is what cause me to add semesters on to my schooling. I will have 5 class left for my bachelors degree after this semester. I am taking one class for the first half of the semester right before the baby is due. Because the classes I have left are practicums (where i physically have to be in the elementary schools) it complicates my schedule because I can't take two in one semester. So I will take three classes in January-April, and two classes April-July 2016. Then I will be done. Everyone asks what we are going to do with the baby during the time I am in school. Well its actually way more simple then everyone may think. I am in school all three semesters of the year because I chose to do so to get done faster. Josh on the other hand is only assigned schooling 2 semesters a year which is what normal people do. So when I go to school Jan-Apr. Josh is actually not in school. I will be done by 11:30 go home and then Josh will go to work. The next semester after that where we will both have school will be a little more difficult but not too bad. I will be hopefully done with school by noon everyday and Josh will take classes after that and then work. Of course life doesn't always go as planned but I am not concerned because I will finish school no matter what. I want to do it for me. As for Josh he switched his major to Business management with an emphasis in Human Resources. It is pretty much the same thing that he was doing except it is a more credible degree then psychology and he doesn't have to have a doctorate to get a job. Plus he can make more money this way. That being said BYU-Idaho does not have his specific program so we may have to transfer after I am done with school but we haven't really figured that out yet. If we do transfer schools we would either go to Boise State University or BYU Provo (the main campus in Utah). You may be asking why am I saying we if I will be done with school. Well I would like to do an online masters program in English if possible so we are looking into that too.
Our Little Munchkin:
Well finally I will tell you about the most exciting part of our lives right now. Our real child. A lot has changed since I last posted but it wasn't until the last few weeks so you didn't miss much. First off I am 20 weeks and 2 days currently. Yes, that means I am halfway done! It went by crazy fast. I have been keeping a journal so if you want to know more then I am telling you here let me know and ill send pics of the pregnancy journal (or bring it to my baby shower). Anyhow I was really sick all the way up to my 17 week. I actually lost weight and dropped down below my pre-pregnancy weight of 100 lbs. to 98 lbs. Luckily, I did not have to go on an IV or anything instead they just told me to watch it and if I did not progress we would talk about it. Well right after I went to my 16 week appointment I stopped feeling sick and haven't really thrown up since. I also started feeling little flutters around week 14. :)
Week 17: Week 17 deserves its own space because it was big week for us. Since I was a little girl I totally thought I would have a girl first so from the beginning I told myself that this little baby was a girl. Well about a month before we actually found out I told Josh (who always thought it was a boy) that I had this feeling that I knew for certain it was a boy. However, I also told him that I have to go against him so I stuck to keeping my answer as a girl. Well funny enough the day before our appointment to find out both my mom and his dad said I have this weird feeling it is a boy. Both of them were also certain it was a girl so that just solidified me knowing that it was totally going to be a boy. Well we go into the ultra sound and our little baby was folded in half blocking everything the technician needed to see. When the little baby finally uncurled the technician said "Let's please note that the hand is directly in front of the crotch" It was hilarious. Well finally she said "It's a boy!! and his hand is just right on his little boy parts" So our ultrasound has his hand in it as well. It was quite funny. Needless to say neither of us were shocked. So we went to the store bought 3 blue star balloons and an it's a boy balloon and put them in a box so we could tell our families at exactly the same time. We went over to his parents house and skyped my whole family in. When we opened the box the balloons didn't fly out, but hey who expects anything to work perfectly? So we pushed them out and everyone cheered. Except for Bricen. Bricen exclaims "Wait, so you're having three boys and a girl?!" It was hilarious because he thought that each balloon represented a baby. But I promise you we are only having one.

Week 19: So this week was significant for a couple of reasons. Over memorial day we went to Arizona to purchase a better family car. It is so hard to find a car anywhere close to where we live so it was a huge blessing that we found the car we wanted in Tempe. Which means I got to see my family. We drove my car down from Idaho and surprised them. It worked out so perfectly because my Grandma Marilee said she would take my car back. So we got to Arizona went to the dealer and saw the car that we wanted. A 2004 Subaru Forester with great mileage. It was a really nice car and because my grandma's cousin works for Auto Nation we got them to inspect the car for us before we actually came to Arizona. Well before we got there they told us they found a coolant leak and that they were fixing it for us. Mind you, they knew we were driving the 15 hours back to Idaho 2 days from then. So we signed all of the paperwork and took the car directly to another mechanic. Sure enough they did not fix the problem as a matter of fact the other mechanic said we wouldn't even make it out of Arizona before the engine blew. So we took the car back to them and of course it was a battle from there. Finally they told us Saturday (we were leaving the next day) that they wouldn't be able to fix it in time and so they would have to give us a rental car and find a way to ship us the car. So we went home there were several other issues and finally last Friday my grandma called and told us to meet her in Salt Lake City and that she would have our car and take the rental car back. So we met her and it was a lot of fun. I was happy that I got to see some of my family a couple weeks apart. The night before we were leaving Salt Lake City the check engine light went on. Another problem. Luckily the dealership is again paying to fix it here in Rexburg. The best thing that has happened so far in pregnancy though was on the way home from Salt Lake City and that was feeling the baby kick me really hard. :) The next day Monday Josh was also able to feel him kick. It is seriously the best feeling in the world and I could sit and feel him kick all day long and never be bored. Overall this was an eventful week of pregnancy and it was the week that people could really start to tell that I am pregnant. I saw the most change between week 18 and 19 then any other week.

Week 20: So now we are caught up to our little man in his current state. On Friday we had his 20 week Ultra Sound which for those of you who don't know is the big one. They check out all of his organs and tell us how he is growing. I was really nervous for this appointment because you just want your baby to be really healthy and strong. Luckily, he has four valves in his heart that all work perfectly. He has both kidneys, two arms with two hands and ten fingers, two legs, two feet, ten toes, two eyes, two ears, and a spine with no spines of spinabifida, and a perfectly developing brain. My cervix is free and clear of the placenta so I can do a vaginal delivery and everything else looks great. He is in the 68th Percentile so on the small side for his weight but hes only two days behind his due date growth wise. Which the doctor said was perfectly fine because he will most likely be a small baby due to our small builds as his parents.

He is currently the size of a Banana (Length wise)
Which makes him 10 1/2 inches long.
Heart is 150 BPM (right where its supposed to be its been consistent since our 16 week ultra sound)
His weight 3/4 of a pound.
My beginning weight was 100 lbs. at 16 weeks I dropped to 98 lbs at 20 weeks I weigh 107 lbs. :)
I no longer fit in any of my normal pants (not even close) and you can see my belly through pretty much all of my clothing. The doctors were really proud that I put on the weight since I last saw them and said as long as I continue to gain weight that was the last time I will see our son until I am holding him in my arms. Which is crazy exciting. :)
Cravings: Spicy food, burritos, peanut butter M&M's, Crystal Light, and cheese fries.
